The semi-finals took place at 10.00am on 20th June 2024 at Dartmouth House, the home of the English-Speaking Union. They were between the University of Greenwich v Oxford Brookes University and the University of Leicester v Manchester Metropolitan University.
The finalists, the University of Greenwich and the University of Leicester, went head-to-head in the grand final which was held at 6pm in the evening at the Royal Courts of Justice and was judged by Mrs. Justice Cockerell, Mr. Justice Foxton and Hugh Mercer KC. The mooters from the University of Greenwich were declared the winners.
As well as having their names engraved on the Silver Mace, the winners will be awarded a prize of £1,000 each, whilst the University of Greenwich also receive a donation of £1,000. The members of the running-up team will receive £750 each. All four finalists will be offered a mini pupillage at Essex Court Chambers.
